Alternate Ending

It had been three years since the Hero had seen the girl who fought by his side during their long journey. She had returned to her homeland, and he stayed in his, fighting against evil, where ever it decided to show it's face. But after a few months of nothing showing up, the Princess allowed him to go find the girl.
He was now in a large, run-down town, a large brick circle taking up a whole block(for those of you in Oregon, it's Pioneer Square). There were many people there, though he was looking for a specific person. He knew she would look the same; she just had to. On the other side of the circle a female stood with her arms crossed, wearing a light blue short sleeved shirt and a black long sleeved shirt under that, black shorts, and a skin-tight cloth under that that seemed foreign to the boy. His face lit up when he saw her face, the same purple-blue eyes the main thing he recognized. Her hair was up in a semi-ponytail, the way it always was.
The Hero took off in a sprint towards her, and when he reached her, he took her hands and simply beamed at her.
"Noel!" He exclaimed, his expression nothing but joy. "Oh, how I've missed you!" He rested his forehead on hers for a moment, failing to notice the female's horribly confused look. "How have you been?" He was so happy to see her that he didn't even notice it, even though he was looking right at her.
The female's eyebrows knit and she leaned back slightly. "Qui êtes-vous?"

Another ending I thought about for TIBD, though I probably won't use it. If I did, it'd most likely turn into a whole different story. xD
But yeah, I got the idea about Noel losing her memory after she returned home, and so I whipped up a picture to go with it. xD;;
For those of you who read TIBD, you know who the boy is. ;D
